Aysel Mirzayeva completed her undergraduate studies in the Department of International Relations at Eskişehir Osmangazi University in 2018. In 2022, she received her master’s degree from Marmara University’s Institute of Middle East and Islamic Countries Studies with a thesis titled “Iran’s Perspective on the Karabakh Issue in the Context of Its South Caucasus Policy.” She is currently pursuing her doctoral studies at the Faculty of Political Sciences at Istanbul University.

Her research interests focus on revolutionary ideology in Iran, conservative factions, and Iran’s South Caucasus policy. Mirzayeva has advanced proficiency in English and Persian.
