Autobiography

Iana Iuzepovych completed her undergraduate studies at Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv in Ukraine. She received her master’s degree in Persian Language and Literature from the University of Tehran in Iran. In 2025, she completed her doctoral studies at Marmara University’s Institute of Middle East and Islamic Countries Studies, in the Department of Middle Eastern Political History and International Relations. Her doctoral dissertation focuses on the U.S. ambassadors who served in Tehran during the reign of Mohammad Reza Shah Pahlavi (1944–1979).

Dr. Iana’s academic research primarily focuses on Iranian foreign policy, Iran–U.S. relations, Iran–Russia relations, and the Russia–Ukraine War. A native speaker of Ukrainian, Dr. Iana has advanced proficiency in Russian, Persian, Turkish, and English.
